Wolfe Residence (Addition and Guest House)

The Wolfe residence addition and guest house apply traditional wood light framing with a cedar shingle exterior, while employing contemporary design to the interior space to create a unique and stimulating environment. The guest house in particular creates very habitable spaces with its shed roof that shelters the main spaces. The square windows along the high end of the roof create a clerestory that allows light to shine onto the adjacent wall. Also, the panoramic window in the kitchen creates wonderful views back towards the main house allowing the guests to be aware of what is happening.
